E-mobility current trend is moving very fast to hybrid or fully electric systems, where battery is a key component and play a major role in the system performance. There is a strong demand for new materials for 48V, 400V and 800V battery designs, which results in big challenges in product’s technical performance. Power level increase push to upgrade system’s properties like thermal dissipation & electrical insulation, to prevent from thermal runaway and increase battery lifetime. Additionally, productivity and environmental concerns play a pivotal role in pack design.
Elantas recently developed innovative solutions in terms of Thermal adhesive, incorporating Snap Cure technology to improve performance and productivity, from cells to pack level.
